Bumblebees Pre- School Nursery

Our Mission

We aim to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued, listened to, and supported. Through rich play opportunities and positive relationships, we help children build skills, confidence, and independence they need as they prepare for their next stage of learning.   We have a large spacious outdoor space and two rooms that provide children with different learning opportunities.

At Bronington Children's Club, we provide a safe, caring and inspiring environment where every child can discover their unique potential. We offer a rich variety of play-based learning opportunities designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning from the very beginning.

Our daily routine

At our nursery, we follow a consistent daily routine to help children feel secure, confident and settled. A familiar structure allows children to know what to expect throughout the day, which builds their sense of independence and emotional wellbeing. Our routine includes a balanced mix of play, learning, rest and mealtimes, giving children plenty of opportunities to explore, make choices, and develop social skills. While we maintain structure, we also remain flexible, adapting to the needs, interests, and rhythms of each child ensuring every day feels both comfortingly familiar and full of discovery.

New Sleeping Pod

We have recently created a dedicated sleep room to give children a calm, comfortable, and restful space during their nursery day. We know how important rest is for children's growth, learning, and overall wellbeing, so our new sleep pod is designed to provide a peaceful environment where little ones can recharge. Having a separate sleep space helps us maintain a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, free from busyness of play areas. It also allows us to better meet individual sleep routines, ensuring each child gets the rest they need in a safe, supervised, and nurturing setting.

Welsh Curriculum

At Bronington Children's Club we draw  inspiration from the Welsh Curriculum (Curriculum for Wales) to support children's learning and development. We incorporate its key principles- such as promoting curiosity, creativity, independence, and a love of learning - through play-based, hands-on experiences. We follow the curriculum for non maintained settings focusing on the 5 areas of learning and developmental pathways. The flexible approach allows us to nurture each child's growth at their own pace while celebrating the rich language, culture, and identity of Wales.

The Honey Pot

The Honey Pot is our busy room where children have access to continuous provision areas including sand and water play, free painting, sensory activities, mark making and make and do. The Honey Pot  provides children with access to a wide range of exciting activities that support all areas of development - from fine motor skills and communication to problem- solving and early social skills

We are very proud of the provision provided at Bronington Children’s Club including our extensive outside area which provides children with endless opportunities to develop their physical development all year round.

The Hive

The Hive is where we all come together to enjoy lunch everyday as it is home to our kitchen area. We also use the hive at the beginning and end of each session to enjoy circle time, stories, music and movement takes place. Development of simple numbers, shapes, colours and words in English and Welsh are also covered through a variety of activities. The Hive is the quieter room of the two and home to the sensory / sleeping area, baking area, reading area, and an array of educational resources.

Outdoor Area

We have a large spacious, secure outdoor area. Children can dig in the mud kitchen, build with natural materials, plant seeds in our vegetable patch, climb and balance on our trim trail, or enjoy our range of bikes and trikes. Children have the chance to explore the outdoors, they can engage all their senses, build confidence, and develop essential life skills that will stay with them as they grow. Brand new to our outdoor area we have a undercover shelter to enjoy indoor/outdoor play in any weather.

CIW Registered

Our nursery is registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), the official body responsible for regulating childcare services in Wales. This means that we meet the strict national standards for quality, safety and care set by CIW. Being registered ensures that every aspect of our setting- from our facilities and staff qualifications to our safeguarding policies and daily routines- is regularly inspected and monitored. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are cared for in a safe, nurturing, and professionally managed environment that meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
